Keeping 'em up

Is there a mod (adding a switch somewhere) to keep the lights up when off? (for cleaning/maintenance of lights)

I swear i read a thread on this not so long ago, cant remember if it was here tho or on another site.
i just pull the live from the relay or disconnect the battery when cleaning them.

+1...You don't need a switch..Plus its always best to have the battery disconnected whilst working on the pods..Maintenance includes using some electrical lube on the connectors for the lights and the regular greasing of armature and pivot bolts..I have also started to spray WD40 on the motor brackets...

Yep just disconnect the battery once up. Dixie used to do this when we went to car shows.

I found just pulling the fuse when the lights are on nice and simple.
Just had a problem with mine where one of the wired bolts had dissapeared. I was half blind in one eye till i had time to fix it.

yup, fuse out should keep em up

I always just pull out the main headlamp control relay (easier than fiddly fuse !)

I fitted a battery cut off switch - very easy to install. Saves the battery from going flat plus its ideal to use when doing stuff like headlights etc.

Unless you forget its off and your there trying to start the car....(Something i would do)...

Plus 1 on the battery isolator switch, ive got one tucked under my dash on the drivers side, great for when you park up and leave the roof off
