Definitely not a 450SE...Unless they made them with series 2 350i bodies???....This car had mixed response when the headlight conversion was done...I have seen this car in the flesh as it was involved in a photo shoot for a Wedge calendar with girls at the BNG2012...However i and this is a personal opinion do not like the front end...It looks horrendous...It would of been better if the headlights were concealed under perspex like the white elephant then that would look cool...

However i do like the rear light set up....Ziga

As Zig says it's a matter of personal taste. Some people love it and others hate it. Personally, I quite like the frog eye look on the front and is something I would consider doing to my own Wegde. Not only do I think it looks good, but it does away with this pop up mechanism that's so unreliable and fiddly to fix. I mean the pop up motor is from the TR7, need I say more? I feel happier with a fixed headlight arrangement knowing it will work when I need it, and I think that setup sort of looks cute. The only thing I would have different to that white Wedge, is to have the new lights colour coded to the car. Yes, the rear lights are also an improvement over our existing square ones. The only problem is of course, it's no longer original, which would effect it's future value, but hey! we can't have everthing.

I'll be honest and say I quite like it - a bit of a Corvette look, although I wont be changing my Wedge set up as I also love the response you get with the pop-ups!

The car is registered as a 350i but has a 5lt engine and also has had bodywork done which includes the front and rear bumpers being molded in to look like a 450. It is also a cat D. The guy who owns it says its good for 180mph.

Please someone Burn it just incase it breeds !! .. That is horrendous ... Like someone raided the Halfords bargin bucket. What is up with the "fast & Furious" lights, the rear lights look "Different" ... and the exhaust with the ali tape above is just laughable.

seems to have taken so much time to ruin the outside, the engine bay looks grubby and in need of some TLC ...

.. All IMHO of course vomit

I think thats what i dont like about them..When you look at the side profile it kills the sharp lines of the Wedge...Upgrades and modifications to certain parts on these cars is inevitable but where possible should be in keeping with the overall design...Again this is my personal opinion.....Cheers...Ziga
