Is there something special about the oil pump remote set up on the Rover V8?

Im struggling to find a replacement seal for the sandwich plate, both inner and outer,.
tried rimmers and the usual suspects, even tried Mocal who kindly sent me 3 FREE gaskets to try, excellent customer service! but alas still not correct!

I had an issue with the oil pump during the rebuild. I have ended up with a Pace B.G. single stage.

Stu,

Did you ever manage to find a source for the correct gaskets?

I tried to track a replacement down about 18 months ago and couldn't find one so made my own from a section of 3mm industrial gasket sheet. I used the original gasket as a template. Not a drop has leaked out since.

Sounds like a good idea, its just a fiddly shape with those 4 (?)elongated holes. Mines not leaking, but if I have to take the sandwich plate off again at some point, might as well try to have a replacement available.

It's the same as the oil filter seal... or at least on was on the Mann filter I bought - W930/20.

Next time I change the oil filter I'll hang onto the filter seal...

One side is the same, the other is the funny gasket with 4 holes.
