XJS Seat????

the seat bases on my 420SE are broken, deciding whether to strip, weld, repair or find a nice set of Chim / Griff seats of even other styles such as Recaro from a RS Turbo

Want minimal faf and spotted a pair of nice, grey leather manual XJS seats which would look great, match my interior

the vendor has said the width is 53cm wide which should fit

I will not be having the seat on runners to give myself maximum head / leg room (as I'm tall) so I don't need it to slide back and forth

Anyone put XJS seats in their wedge???

I've not heard of someone doing this but why not give it a go? Sounds like they will fit.

Just a thought if you add a blower too you could have an SXJS ;^)

Nah, you just need to add the X to the end of 420 SE lol

EFA - Sorry just noticed this is an S not a Wedge - Dunno what it was posted in this section for....


Late model seats fit and look great in my opinion.

Not my car by the way so I don't know if any mods were needed.
