I've had a few of both. Both have advantages and disadvantages. My personal choice is the 4 litre Wedge purely for the sound and raw power.

I had the lotus excel loved it till the engine blow up cost me a lot of money to fix.love the shap.now I have a wedge love the soft top and sound and a lot easier to fix
