Wings and wheels - Brilliant day
Discussion
Attended on Sunday - great weather - great flying display, with Red Arrows the Vulcan and the Chinook was awesome...
The motoring paddock was awash with great stuff and we all got 4 flat out blasts up the runway
G8RWL behaved perfectly with a very respectable 131mph at the end of the runway and that was in the hands
of my 21 year old son - I only managed 128 mph...
A great day - will return next year for sure
P.S. - great to meet you Matt-Man - you car was a credit to all the work and time you spent on -Simon

Hi simon!
Absolutely fantastic day...after all the problems with the tickets (which I was pleased they announced through the briefing) i am so pleased I managed to go a again.
Awesome event.
It was great to meet you and your son simon and run alongside another 400! I'm glad I had me new exhaust fitted! Thanks for your comments, your car looked great too
I got a better speed on the second run too but just touched 130 as I went through the gates. brilliant!
I have the first one recorded but my mate has my go pro (used it to record his porsche beetle turbo) but I'll upload it later in the week.
That was also a 280drop head which ran the runway so a good show for wedges
Here we were warming up before the first run

You lucky buggers...By the time i was a mile away they had already sold out of tickets!...I did see the chinook from where i was sat in traffic..Crazy manoeuvres..Almost scary...Looked like a great event...If i decide to go next year I'm going to pre-book and camp outside....Can we have some more pics of the day please for us less fortunate ones....
