One snapped completely so there was cooland squirting all over the manifold - looked like I was driving a steam engine!

Anyhow here's the old crappy plastic one removed, and the replacement made out of a 15x10mm tee, reduced down to 8mm.

I removed the other one too and replaced is - don't trust bits of plastic with hot water.



This is them fitted - can't see the difference I think...

Fair enough! THe brass ones aren't the right size.

Am I right in thinking the two straight flanges are 10mm and the tee'd off one is 8mm?

The bigger ones are 15mm and I added the olives too, to give the jubilee clips a positive ridge to purchase on, though it would probably be OK without them.
