Hi,

does anybody has a hazard switch for a Tasmin from 1982 left over? Is the Lucas switch from the TR7 and Esprit 2...

These switches are new not available anymore...

Iam looking also for some electric window switches... the once with the green illumination. Hard to find these days...

Thanks Mat

Usually they just tarnish a bit inside and you can revive them by switching on and off 50-100 times.

Or check to see if the contacts have oxidised, Turn the switch upside down to see if they are green and fury..You can clean the contacts carefully with a ultra fine nail/Emery board or some 1200 grit wet and dry..Some electrical lube/Cleaner helps.

I did have a spare one but its not in the best condition , I think the toggle was damaged slightly but if yours is ok then you can swap the bits over...Ill see if i can find it but try giving your old one a clean first...Cheers...Ziga

Check the pin count. I know later (at least 1986 ones) had 7 pins. (Which are a hard to find Range Rover part.) There are some threads on here. Grady
