Hi Peeps...Recent posts have reminded me...If you are doing a full restoration or major upgrade..Engine swap or major conversions to the suspension of your Wedge then please remember to take as many good quality pics..Which most of you do anyway, And at some point submit them to Sprint...I know quite a few of you are not TVRCC members but nevertheless its about getting the Wedge in there and also its a good guide for any future projects.

You could send the info to me and i will speak to my Sprint friend.. smile.. and forward it on..Or send it direct to him.

However you must be patient as to get it to print takes a while but its worth it....Cheers...Ziga

Didn't they stop doing "fixing up" articles because of some liability concerns?

Or have they got liability insurance now for that, too?

Probably. I don't think they've stopped, but they do have disclaimers.

I have another idea behind it but want to do a lot more research first...I get the Sprint every month and would like to see something Wedge shaped in there...Yes there will be issues as to disclaimers but essentially it will be a documented rebuild and conclusion..It won't be telling everyone that they have to do it but its food for thought if they did...It won't be so much of a how to but more as a reference..Just an idea at the moment....Cheers..Ziga

If there was enough takers - we could publish our own Mag. I have a background in writing/editing & publishing. Having said that it would probably be easier to publish online....just a thought!

Sounds like quite a gauntlet to throw down!

An online mag would be good, to start with. Could have a "best of pistonheads" section with links back to the hot or informative topics of the month.

Well i guess its a little ambitious of me...(As always) but i did want to put it in some kind of book form but as you say its probably cheaper and easier to do online..I was spaeking with Howard a while back about setting up a site for Wedges so maybe it would be a good place for such info...Personally i find it a fascinating read although somewhat daunting it would help those considering it or having to do it...Something to discuss when he is back from the RNR...Mind you might have to give him a week to get over all the rusty!..biggrin

I had a sniff of it when i first joined the TVR fraternity but its gone now so thats why i was thinking maybe have a website with something similar...Obviously it will never be the same..Unless we can link it from whoever has it now??..It will also have other very useful links..Yours included... wink

www.thewedgepages.com is not a registered domain - what are you waiting for???

(Tipping a nod to the old tvrwedgepages site)
