Head light, very pleased with myself

When I bought the car the off side head light pod was on the piss

Was slanted to one side rubbing on the body, wasn't sitting correctly and looked crap



So stripped the pod, found who ever had decided to adjust the head light for mot decided to do so by screwing around with rose joint cam vs the head light bezel, very odd

So stripped the pod, lamp, rose joint and cleaned and greased everything up

Screwed back together and bingo :-)

Went back perfectly woo hoo

Nice job and more to the point you stripped something down AND put it back together again. Result!

Yep, the only reason the link is adjustable is to set the pod flush with the bodyshell. Some people decide it can be used to alter the headlamp aim and that's when it all goes to cock...

Indeed Keith, the rebuilding bit is a new feeling lol and quite rewarding ;-)

Next job is to figure out why the off side front corner is 1cm higher vs the near side

Upon initial inspection its got more packing vs the near side, bit of head scratching to come me thinks
