With the screw on fan thing do you think there will be enough clearance in the pod to fit them???

Yeah easy. I think there's gobs of room behind the pod. Nice place to mount the electrical doohdah too.

My main concern is that in bad weather we'll have a problem keeping ice off the lens. On the other hand a heater element on the lens could solve that, under thermostatic control.
