Anyone got any Wedgie Wedge New Year's Resolutions ?

I'm just gonna pamper mine..

Started already - just fitted an MSD Blaster 2 'Red' coil and polished the rear wheels (too cold to polish all of 'em ) and booked it in with David Batty to have the rear wheel bear's done

2 small fibre glass repairs (front spoiler and rear bumper) to be done. They will have to wait until easter, which isn't that far off. Both these were sustained by the previous owner but not as pressing as a couple of other things.
If things go well, just a general tify up of the interior.
AND make some wedge meetings.

Get a garage built!!!!!

Get the front bumper repaired after some nice person in a Disco used it to test their poor reversing skills before driving off. Might as well get the rest of the front done at the same time to get rid of the stone chips.

Get enough money to get the above jobs done.

I've had it up on axle stands and scraped, treated and painted the rear end of the chassis. The sills are coming off next week to do the same. There is a limit to what you can get at without taking the body off though. Next winter maybe

There is the small matter of an LPG system and a Turbo to be fitted. I think I may take a closer look at the Megasquirt system to control the ignition too.

Hopfully get round to driving mine. Could not park it at my flat all last year so have not used it since BBWF. However have now sold offending flat and now have a parking space. Just need to get the wedge down here, replace the pinion seal and go drive.

Hopefully keep mine after some person decided I am no longer required. We shall see.

Mine is at RT Racing at the moment, with quite a lot of suspension, steering and brake work being done.

After a bit of soul-searching I've decided that the old girl is worthy of a new lease of life.

First the essentials (above), and then some nice leather seats, a tidy up inside, and wheels refurbishing.

I should then have a vehicle that I'll be proud to take to meetings.

The temptation to put in a Cosworth 24 valve is strong,
but we'll see how the rest goes first.

I keep my job. Good news. Reduced pay to what I get. Bad news. Time will tell.

Cheers.

Edited to add, I don't know where this is going to end up. May have to sell but have to wait and see. Try to keep it. Bit complicated in the way of my job.

Looks like another move may be on the books. Bummer. We like it back in Wales as well. Keep the Wedge and particular job doing that though.

Doesn't life throw you some oddies at times. Now then, where to live?

Well, you know that programme on MTV, Pimp my Ride? Can I fit 20" Giavanni chrome wheels, pink shag pile carpet and a 15" monitor for my in car play station? Or, what about the "gasser" look. Anyone tried jacking the suspension 8"? Will I need a step to get in? Oh yes, rather than a SEAC whale tail, what about one of those boomerang aerials on the boot lid?
