Would a flexi pipe work considering its length, too much give in it perhaps? But I'm not an expert so somebody else might comment.

I've seen flexi options for later cars and I intend doing this to my car, problem is it's not a common size so options are limited.

rimmers clicky

The hard part is getting the slave end thread correct. You could go over to the LR slave and there's a flexi to match: nrc2211.

It's only short so you'd still need a copper pipe to get there e.g.:

I was thinking a flexi pipe probably won't last too long in that position due to the proximity of the manifold - the heat will cook it.

Did yours split just at the slave union?

The flange split right on the end

Sounds like mine then, I think it wobbles about with vibration and after a few years gets work-hardened and splits.

I reckon a small bracket bolted through a sump bolt to relieve the train about half-way along - with a small rubber pipe over the clutch pipe between the bracket and the pipe to damp down vibrations. I'll fit one up on mine and take some piccies.
