Got a door off
Discussion
Took the drivers door off a few weeks ago with some help from Ed Crouch to fit new nylon bushes. Anyway whilst it's off I thought I should look at doing a revamp of the window workings, question is does a replacement channel exist for the glass to sit in or is it a matter of finding/making up a length? The end channels I think are ok although new flock could be good.
Cheers in advance, wooly.

Wooly, if you mean the lower channel, I had the same problem earlier this year: see this thread:

The Rangie ones were no good, and eventually Glen on here sorted me out with a pair of much better condition used ones. They're an odd shape to get some new made up unfortunately.

Hi John...This might help...I know someone had a plate welded on the rangey ones to stop the wheels popping out...

As there are a few different part numbers can anyone remember which one they went for, cant really confirm from photos on rimmers page.
Numbers I've taken off are; MUC1218 RH MUC1219 LH MUC2322 and ALR6540. Which one?

When I rebuilt the Gredge doors I used the Rimmer SD1 motors and linkages, the Disco glass channel as mentioned and the classic mini window channel rubber:
