Well I suppose it makes sense. In Germany the HPI records won't apply, so whether it was on the HPI register or not it won't effect the value. It would have been good for it to stay in the UK, but it seems we're too fussy about the past. As any woman will tell you, it's not the past that matters but the present. We must judge by what we see today and forget about the past.

It would have been nice if the seller had been so keen to deal with the first person who contacted them.

A German chap was interested when I tried to sell mine in the Summer, despite the ad saying "UK only" and he started bidding.....
No disrespect but I'd prefer the car to stay in UK, and didn't want the faff of dealing with an overseas buyer
