My 400 came with a tonneau cover. I doubt I will ever use it. Anyone interested?

It is an original hand crafted item (in other words, home made wink )

Anyone interested. No idea on value!

It would be interesting to see how that fits in a Wedge...Are there press studs on the back of the seats?....Or does it clip over the face of the open mullet..Acting like a ramp for any water to be dumped behind the seats....

Well, yes, studs behind the seats. Water? You leave your Wedge out in the rain with the roof down?

Only by accident and for a short period but there has been times when I'm driving in the rain with the roof down and there is no hard shoulder to pull on to, Although if you have the side windows up and keep moving you are okay....smile

That looks like a hood cover to me, not a tonneau cover. Do you have the studs on the body around the back and sides of the folding hood? That will only fit if you have the studs on the body, rather like the MGB roadster.

I made it a few years ago, not as good as zig's handywork though.

It covers the roof and rear shelf when the roof is down. Studs are on the body and behind the seats to hold it in place. It did make a lot of difference to wind noise when travelling along. I also had a chrome tube that went between the seatbelt pivot points to give it rigidity when fitted.

Some should remember it on here as it was commented on at the time and I was asked to make it for others, but never got around to it. Partly because my sewing skills are crap

Hi mate...Hope you are well...I would like to of seen it fitted as i know you do get a fair amount of turbulence with the roof down and windows up whilst motorway driving...The wind can and does deteriorate the stitching for the rear window..

And don't worry about how it looks..Nothings perfect when you are making stuff as its a prototype....smile

If no-one else wants it then i will...Its given me an idea...I think it needs something else added and then will be fairly practical to have...I will pay postage and buy you a massive jug of house or Inn best....Ziga
