Hi Peeps...You know it still warms my heart that after 5 years of TVR ownership my TVR friends still go above and beyond to help a fellow enthusiast in trouble...In the beginning it was mainly my Wedge brothers who i had to thank but as time has marched on i have made friends with others who own..Griffs..Chims..Cerbs..Tuscan's..Tamora..S..T350...Wedge healey...smile (Cant forget that one)..No sag though..Nearly....

Out of all the people i have met who own TVR's..I think its over 100 now all have been real down to earth genuine nice people..I don't think i have ever met one who isn't ..Actually..Sadly thats not true but back to the point...

This whole TVR experience for me so far has been a wonderful journey even with all the shyte..But you have take the rough with the smooth..Life is swings & Roundabouts...Sometimes its horrendous but having good people around you really does help a lot.

For this years fest I'm not sure if we have anyone in mind for the "Wedge personality award"..Yet ..Well i do and i think he should man up and accept it...You don't have to give a speech..Just a quivering lip or chin and a simple "Thank you" will do...biggrin..If i could i would award you all with it...

One thing is for sure if i win this weeks Euromillions then the massive party will be on me, It will be held at the "Zigaquarium" of exotic and lustable performance classic cars which will be held at "Zig manor"...Although make sure you ring the buzzer as i will have to put the hyenas away... wink They make wonderful guard dogs....And don't waste a scrap!

This is why i enjoy making the Wedge calendars and more recently organising the fest so that i can give something back to you all...I do try to keep the forum in good jest and always try to help others where i can..So this ones from the heart when i say a massive "THANK YOU" to you all...

I just hope that the future of TVR ownership for those who are yet to experience it will be as endearing as it is now, As this is something that is part and parcel of the journey..May it long continue...

Much love & Respect....Ziga

Mark, as a recent new boy (well just over a year now) to both TVR and Wedge ownership I agree 100% with what you've said. The support and enthusiasm I've encountered this last year has been superb. Thanks to all and long may it continue. clap

Well said Mark. I have owned a Wedge..my first a 350i since 2003, and have been posting on this forum ever since. I'm a lot quieter these days, but I still read much of what is said on here.
I've said it before...TVR ownership is a great community, but this forum is by far the best, for its friendliness but also because people help one another when needed, I like that.
As for Wedge Personality awards, I think Mark you would walk the vote with the efforts you put in!! Well done, just my opinion mate. soapboxyes

Nothing wrong with repeat nominations...whoever wins, it's richly deserved.
Anyway..I'm hoping your numbers come up, for this party at Zigmanor!! biggrin

I think if it was not for the help of people on this forum a lot more wedges would have bit the dust

This forum is great, and so are the people that contribute. I agree that a lot more wedges would have been abandoned without it. Finding out what parts etc is hard enough, and then the experience and expertise available here makes it far easier to fix stuff.

I always try to pass on what I've learned too, in the hope it helps others keep their beast on the road (or restore it).

Good on you all. This forum takes people from grumpy to cloud9

I agree as well.
But would add that the members give confidence to medium ability fettlers like me. Manys an occasion i've thought something has been beyond me, only to ask on here or read previous posts and think i could do that.
As for personality of the year it should go to me! As by not attending the BBWF i have saved you all from my personality!
