Over tightened the oil pressure gauge. Burst it, leaving a bit stuck in the block. Doh.
If i drop the sump will i be able to unscrew from there?
Any ideas on where to get a replacement? (Being lazy, i'll trawl the net with a beer later).

Its a 2.8 cologne v6.
Cheers guys

You may be lucky and get it out by tapping a suitably sized flat bladed screwdriver into it and simple unscrewing it?

They are so awkward to get at I'm amazed you got enough leverage on it to snap it off!

I did the same on the V8 (they have a soft brass adapter) and used an easy-out type bolt extractor. Bought it special, like. Only used that size once in 20 years!

Go easy with those things, very brittle and very hard, snap that off and you're in big dodo !

Then change the oil coz any WD40 that goes down that hole in the middle will now be mixing with it!

Thanks for the advice. My mate (Cokes from the Chimaera forum) had a go today but its a tight squeeze getting tools in there. Will try again tomorrow frown
As to a replacement, called David Gerald this morning, they no longer do parts having sold them all to TVR Manufactoring.
I think the sensor itself is fine though and only the adaptor section needed. So I'll try Burton on monday, unless anyone can suggest something or somewhere else.
Cheers guys
