Woodwork coming up
Discussion
Hi guys,
I was bringing the 350i down to Virginia this weekend as next weekend is our annual Out of the Woodwork national for the TVRCCNA and had a great experience.
The trip is about 400 miles from Ohio down to Woodbridge, VA south of DC. I was about 100 miles out and came down onto the highway from a 75 mile blast through the Blue Ridge mountains and fell in behind a late model Aston Martin Vantage. He pulled aside and let me go by in the fast lane and proceeded to follow me in and out of traffic. We took turns leading and after several times breaking the 100mph mark I had to stop for Petrol.
He stopped as well and asked me all about the 350i. He knew TVR's but not this particular one since there are only a hand full in the States. He told me the car sounded F*****g awesome as I blasted by him. With all the wind noise I couldn't hear the Vantage but it looked nice in Mustard yellow with black interior.
Made the 7 hour trip a lot more fun.
Off to Woodwork on Friday!

Sounds an immense trip, would love to see some pic or vid of the trip home.
I try to get around Europe and people love the Wedge and don't understand how it can be and how it can be so noisy and a lot of time don't believe the car is anywhere near as loud as it is, so doesn't surprise me that this guy would stop to chat and admire.
Enjoy the Festival and if possible some pictures would be great.

BeaconHi guys back from Woodwork. We had a decent turn out with around 45 cars with the full range from a Grantura MK3 to several Griffith 500's and a Chim.
Rain held off for the most part till late Saturday and some on the drive back on Sunday.
870 miles on this trip in the 350i and not a hick up so far. 450 miles more till it gets a rest back in Ohio this weekend.
GBINUSA, take a look on our TVRCCNA website for events in your area or contact Dave Firewick at westernro@tvrccna.org for info.
Nobody from the UK this year. Just a bunch of crazy, drunken Canadians! As usual!!
