280i Duty Cycle Pickup Lead

learning about the Bosch CIS system. I would like to take some dwell readings to check the mixture settings. There is just one wire, a blue one, marked 'duty cycle pickup lead'. I assume the positive lead from the dwell meter connects to this and the negative wire goes to ground.
