1984 2.8i Drive Belts
Discussion
Warp speed answer ,or what Gaza.
I guess my belts might have stretched a bit over the years like waist lines.
Capris seem to list 2 belts fitted? Are there any part numbers or is it just a matter of ordering a MK3 Capri 2.8i ones? Perhaps you can also throw some light on the "Langford" exhaust system. The down pipes seem to be mild steel, but the exhaust boxes under the seat wells appear to have a loose stainless steel shrouds around them?? The rest of the system I'm not sure about. I'm still struggling to fit the nearside down pipe into the first exhaust box without dropping the whole system
Thanks again for any replies. Cheers J C.

Give my mate Clive a ring...There are variants of the belts...

Most motor factors should have them also...They are 10mm x whatever you need...The rectangle mid boxes have heat shields to protect the fibreglass although they are good seat warmers in the winter..Not sure how to fit those as mine had straight through pipes...Couldn't be asked with all the faffing around...plus wanted to make some bloody noise...Cheers...Ziga
