All sounds very interesting...I thought AMG would of been used but Cosworth is a very good choice...
A Cosworth powered V8 with rear wheel drive..Light composite body and space frame chassis...Wow...I just hope there are no upside down lights or dodgy wiring although the DNA of TVR is being incurred..........Well done Mr E..A very good plan.

I wouldn't get too excited just yet. In principal it's good that the TVR name will live on in a current production car, but what does it mean for me and you? Probably just another poster on my bedroom wall. It will most probably be built by robots, can only be repaired at the main agent by robots and cost the earth to buy and maintain. Mmmmm. I've got more chance of buying a used Ferrari.......

Front engined, 2 seater TVR with a bloody powerful V8. Sounds perfect to me and I wish them all the best for their venture. Any increased awareness and news regarding TVR and their back catalogue of cars can only stimulate interest in the marque and hopefully get more people interested in saving them rather than carving them up for spares.

Sounds like the engine being toted is a Cosworth reworking of an American V8, possibly the 5 litre Ford jobbie.
