I like the 2 x 280's..Good price...I see the JPS seller has come to his senses..I know we have debated the values when they are high but equally i think the 350's..(Bar the JPS) are priced too low..The people selling are obviously true owners and not traders..And are the people who should be setting the president on values..I'd say 4.4-5K for a solid useable good condition for age Wedge 350i ...Give traders less room for profit but keep them affordable for enthusiasts..
Just did a search in the PH classifieds for something for the same money but from between 1960-1990 price range between 3-5K..Not much i fancy owning really ...Maybe the GT6 as i have always liked them..And a few TVR Wedges..V8's as well..

Not many 390's in there....
There might be soon......
Hello to all, not been on here for a while as have had other priorities.
Been using the 390 here and there but losing patience with the intermittent miss fire which every time I think I've sorted it it comes back !
It is either the ecu or the wiring to it I have ascertained.
Got the usual "tap/whack ecu and miss fire goes" syndrome......
Hi Ian...That sounds very much like an ECU fault as i know someone as we speak is having his rebuilt due to the same problem...BBA Reman..(Rochester) can sort it out for round £200..If you do go this route then make sure you tell them everything about the car as is possible as there might be resistors in there that are specific to TVR.
Hope you are well mate...The squirrels miss ya....Ziga

Since values have picked up, loads of cars which were "shelved" because they needed repairs, or just undesirable have been taken out to be sold. That's my theory anyway.
We've recently seen a couple of the "basket cases" bought cheap and restored because of their increased value.
Long may it continue.

I still think getting the ECU done ASAP is a good move...It will have a lifetime guarantee ..£200..(Approx)...Takes a few days..Check your wires around the plugs on the temp sensor and thermotime ..This was causing me a load of grief...
All good now though...Just a leaking fuel rail to sort out...
Sort it out mate you know it makes sense...Ziga
