Afternoon All
Has anyone managed to repair a wedge seat reclining mechanism ?
The bloody lever that locks the recline has snapped off on the drivers side WTF !
I have tried to disconnect spring and Jane in position but no joy Any ideas as usual have spent all weekend bleeding the brakes again and was just about to test ( again ) and the poxy seat lever has just broke off .
You have just got to laugh or cry
Also how bad are the seats to remove and could I interchange passenger with drivers side to temporary bodge
All the best

I dont know but if you get a solution tell me, mine has been broken for the last 2 years, luckily at a reasonably comfortable angle.

Cheers Gog
So annoying everything you touch just falls apart !
Oh well onward and upward
Might actually replace for a proper bucket seat with harness etc as very rinky dink as standard !

Mine snapped years ago, I've welded it three times but I must be doing something wrong.

You could swap the seats over without an issue. They're just bolted through the floor at 4 points.

Hi if it helps with getting the X19 mechanisms from the states, my parents live over there and i'm sure that if i persuaded them they would help out with the shipping if all the costs were covered.

Or if you can wait till October they are coming over the UK then so may be able to get them shipped in there suitcases.

Just a thought.
