Renovo - they do a cleaner and a coloured re-proofer for use after the cleaner. Did mine a couple of months ago and pleased with the result. You need to mask off the window and paintwork prior to using the re-proofer, to stop splatter from your brush.

Hi mate...I swear by the Renovo products...Here is a kit which in the great scheme of things is not a bad price...Normally i only buy the reviver as i use the auto-glum hood cleaner & Protector but will in future buy the kit...Some people have used boot polish...I don't,,,Have a read up on it first to see what you think...Cheers...Ziga

Buy the 'Renovo Kit' Comes with cleaner, dye and sealer. Follow the instructions and your top will look almost new. I know because I've used it. It does exactly what it says on the tin.

Kiwi boot polish and a sponge. Apply in straight lines, stand back and admire the best quid you have ever spent.

Boot polish does work but if you want to do the right job i would go for the Renova, it does a great job.

Applied lightly and not lapping in straight lines works a treat . Dab a bit on a sponge and run in straight lines. Never had a problem with a shiny lid.

All good by the way mate, hope you are too...

Yes. One Litre should do both cars but don't forget to use cleaner, then dye then sealer for a good job.

Renovo for me... but it's a bu99er to get off if you spill it on the upholstery.

As Ian say's...Make sure you have the roof on and windows up and a wet cloth handy as you don't want it drying on the paintwork either...A litre should be more than enough...I had around 5 applications out of mine and there is a bit left..Probably about half a roof..Follow the instructions and you will be impressed...My roof was dark blue but badly faded and i didn't like it..One application changed the colour to black albeit not jet black as it still had a slight tinge of blue but the second application a couple of months later took care of that.

Like all of these things the prep is the important part, I use a fairly stiff nylon upholstery brush on mine to loosen any trapped particles before cleaning...You could if you have one use a brush attachment on a hoover first.
Do it right and you shouldn't need to do it again for another 6 months.....Ziga
