Well got the new sixteens on the back at last smile



New hubs with longer studs and they fill the arches so much better

I didn't realise we have 30 nuts per wheel at £2 each plus the refurb and ............
Don't tell the wife !!!

Talking of 16" wheels, spoke to a chap today who had a brand new set of these bad boys........they looked amazing in the flesh......no idea of price, PM me if you want contact details

Have a set of those Speed8 16" wheels on my wedge (my all time favourite wedge, unfortunately put in the skip by TVR....).
Look good and easier to find tyres.

Launched at the same time as the Griff they said that they'd build the one which got the most orders. The Griff only won because it was cheaper boxedin

Was at the factory when the Speed8 markII stood there. Engine taken out, no gearbox, but I have sat in it!
It was a prototype and had no roof. The White Elephant was in another corner, as well as the mad S Cosworth that was too powerful for its chassis. Probably a sort of prototype museum (in other words a filled shed ;-)
As mentioned before, the Griffith (like that as well and next TVR to join the wedge, if I win the lottery) had a lot more interest and the rest is history. And it saved/helped TVR for another couple of years as we know.
