Access to boot
Discussion
Morning Wedgers!
I've been working on my Wedge (very slowly) for the last few years. Currently I have removed all of the dash and instruments in order to fit in a new digital dash. As I have wires everywhere I have had the battery out and had fitted a piece of thick card over the boot catch to keep it from closing.
This week I had to move it out of the garage while some new doors were being fitted (to the garage!
) During the move one of my kind helpers dislodged the card and now the boot has shut! I dare not reconnect the battery as I don't know if there are any wires elsewhere in the car shorted at the moment! Is there a point where I can connect 12V to unlock the boot? or Is there an emergency method of access (like the Cerb?)
Obviously, if there is a method of entry which could benefit a car thief, please PM me with the solution!
