seat belt help

hi all just took car for an mot today need some advice please,seat belt stalk needs replacing drivers side does any body know where it comes from ford tr7 etc . a few other jobs need doing nothing to major thanks mike

Took mine off and wandered around the scrappy. Picked out an Allegro thet matched, was a while ago though. The Allegro was a rotten job not an accident job, dunno if that has any bearing on it.

ISTR the Mini had the same belts as my Tasmin...

Hi,Don't know which year you have, but compared to my '88 390,i think you'll find they are ford pattern latches. while wandering around my local scrappy, discovered that MkII granada are VERY similar, (esp.late models(Y reg on))a little longer but with similar mounting points,the only difference being the bottom mounting plate hasn't got the small bend in it to clear the carpet,Hmm dont think that'll be a problem!;-)
Found out mine just needed a bit of TLC with some light oil,and realigning the retractor mechanism,and they were fine again so never bought any.
I do happen to know the whereabouts of a scrappy with 2 MkII granadas in if youre interested?
Ended up buying a Peninsular Rollover bar so Got 4 point harnesses now:-))

got one which I took out of my 89 400 a year or so back - it still works, just that the webbing started to look tatty and not retract properly. You're welcome to the stalk if you want it.

I also have the old ones I took off my car. They were working OK but were a little rusty. Stalks were OK. Your welcome to them. Regards
