DELILAH.........!!! If you click on Mr Zigaziga's name and then click on his previous forums there will be several hundred posts regarding Delilah and her history. She also features a fair bit on YouTube. A very well known car.

Mark - tempted to buy her back????? You just cant have too many Wedges you know. wink

eek...."Delilah is that you......Is it really you"......"DELILAH".....weeping

Right now thats out the way...Well what can i say...I sorted pretty much everything on her all bar a body off..The chassis was in really good condition due to the original plastic coating...I never checked the out riggers so not sure there...They passed the screwdriver test when i had her...Its nice to see that she has been looked after...Shame i never got to finish the interior..Whats to say...I rescued her from being scrapped and brought her up to a reliable useable condition with some very nice engine bay work..Chrome rockers...etc...She had some new original parts fitted that were literally the last in the world...Un-obtanium from circa 20 years ago!..All the fuel system was rebuilt professionally ...Metering head..WUR all rebuilt by kmi...Radtech alloy rad with a Kenlowetwin turbo 18" electric fan..That set up cost me £800 alone..Albeit for the blower instal...Wah!

Stainless steel ACT manifolds...Fully rebuilt engine 6 years ago so the mileage is out by around 20,000 as Delilah sat in a garage for 11 years of her previous existence ...Has electric power steering but i do have two PAS pumps with bracket if anyone is interested, They were also rebuilt.

The steering rack was rebuilt..The wheels were refurbished by Lepsons..She had new upper 7 Lower ball joints...All UJ's were replaced for the heavy duty...The prop was re-balanced..She had a new clutch..The brake fluid was drained and replaced with DOT 5.1...New engine mounts...Wheel bearings front and rear...Blimey there is loads...Basically she is a reliable as a 30 year old classic handbills British sports car should be..And a bit more...I still love her but it would be too painful a memory to take her back....There are a lot of happy memories surround her but for me personally some very sad ones too...I will always love you Delilah.....weeping

I can confirm that its NOT John, A nice Irish fellow bought her last year and was toying with the idea of keeping her and selling his 350i..Which he may of done as he is wanting a Griff 5.0...If i was wanting a reliable 30 year old V6 engined TVR Tasmin i would snap her up....smile

Nice to see she has doubled in value....With a new interior she would be more like 4K...

Found her Dyno from Power engineering....Pretty impressive for a blown supercharged V6...50 horses added but at a cost of £100 per 1bhp...eek

She could keep up with the big boys...Although the money it cost me to be able to see such figures i could of bought an array of V8 Wedges....Shame it never worked out as i would of still had her now...She ended up an unfinished symphony ..Story of my life ...smash

Not us, we sold her to Norton Automotive last year, still got video on Facebook blatting through our neighbourhood. Apart from the five speed gearbox upgrade Toby did we replaced one headlight motor, did the rear tie rod bushes, one rear drive shaft replaced, section of high pressure fuel hose, low pressure fuel hoses from tanks, near side ujs, stuck a land rover header tank under the bonnet and removed offside fuel tank to re solder the vent spigot, Toby did most and I passed the spanners!
