I bet you thought that a Lotus Esprit was the only wedge car to be used in the James Bond films, but how wrong you are in fact a 350i was also used in die another day in 1999, sadly though it was on the wrong side of the camera in fact it was the camera car tracking vehicle and is on sale on ebay now at £7.50 so far from the front looks more like a mini moke than a 350i but i can see Ziga sitting at the rear filming next years BBWF convoy just the job or as a taxi to ferry people to the local pub,a bit of movie history, the owner also runs a standard red 350i.

I thought that car was used in Tomorrow Never dies? With the old 7 series barge of a Beemer?

Apologies it looks different to the one I had in my head!

Seem to remember reading somewhere they used a red on in Tomorrow Never Dies as well!

A big shame though that they never used an early Tasmin fixed head car as the underwater submarine instead of the Lotus Esprit as then it would be as famous and iconic as the Esprit is now and the values of Tasmins that everyone keeps going on about would be a lot higher as indeed Esprits are now.

I just look at that and ask ' why ' ?
Must be so many other vehicles they could have used more suited to the job like a land rover or even a van and just the back open!
