9 x 16 Tuscan Racer OZ wheels
Discussion
Sold/ fitted loads of these to wedges over the years, the inner rims are 1/2 wder so you run very close to "A" frame and fuel tanks , outer rim is no wider than the regular SEAC 8 1/2 rims so no issue with outer wheel arch shape.
3 of my wedges had these fitted to the rear and on one i hade them all round.

Thanks - I presume 245/45 x16 tyres. When they were on the front as well, did it make mush difference to the feel of the steering?

Yes 245/45x 16 are the ideal size for this rim ,225s are a bit stretched, have fitted these on front aswell (245) with power steering, a bit much without PAS.

225s are a good choice for the front as 245s can rub throught the inside wing but it all depends on the car and how it was made. The stretching actually stiffens the sidewall which helps tremendously as it stops squidgyness.
On the rear it is very tight indeed. Watch the A frame bolts in particular.

I run 16x9's all round with 245's rear and 225's front (toyo's).
The 225's are a bugger to fit on 9" rims. I took mine to micheldever tyres who struggled using conventional methods and resorted to using an inner tube to push the beads onto the rim, splitting the bead and extracting the inner tube and blowing it back up again. Beware that with this method you'll get charged for any inner tubes that get damaged in the process - £5 a throw!

I have managed to collect 4 of these ex-tuscan alloys over the years. I have probably looked at 20, maybe 30 over the years, and have selected the best 4 I can.
These are true, and the rims are in good condition.
I run 245x45x16's on them.
I can only second what Tim said.. some of these wheels have seen action. many have damaged outside edges due to collisions / tyre wall, other car impacts
The going rate for these babies used to be £50 - £100 each, but as they become rarer, expect to pay a lot more.

If it helps my last 3 Big wedges had these rims fitted one had them all round, the 400SE had them on the back only , non fouled the chassis or rubbed the body work but as Steve suggests i wouyldn't like to guarantee that they will fit yours without a problem. IMO on a 400SE i would stick with 15x8 fronts.
