Can anyone tell me the vehicle the washer jets for a 350SE might be off? Mine is crome with two jetted screws (knackered obviously).

Cheers

Bloody hell, you must be an originality fanatic!

Get yourself down to the scrappy and ransack to your heart's content. Or Halords, perhaps - I think they do universal bits. Chrome I don't know about, though...

They don't sound original though. Should be jappaned black IIRC.

Has anyone done the washer spray bar upgrade to a wedge?

I noticed on the 's' forum there were quite a few, and decided to get meself the citreon BX spray bar - £10 including delivery etc. (citroen part N93780)

Sadly, the holes are drilled on the wrong side, so when you clip the thing to the wiper arm, it squirts the water out away from the screen! I assume the BX has the wiper parked infront of the passenger. So I puts it on the underside of the arm, and it sort of works - at least it is much better than the original nozzles, but there is room for improvement.

Does anyone know what the current model TVR spray bars are from? or any pictures of how to fit the thing would be handy!

Hi WedgeGirl, unfortunately I won't be at the Rose and Crown - too much work to do.

On the plus side, I have trawled through all my car parts catalogues, and I found that Vehicle Wiring Products sell a little three nozzle thingy you bolt on, for a whopping £3.40 . I seem to recall Leven selling something similar?

I still favour the spray bar though, as it worked quite well on a tuscan.

I just meant that he must be a bit fussy, if it was critical that it had the absolute original part.
If you think the TVR washer jet is obscure, try the Esprit one. It's about 2.5" high, must be off a Volvo artic or something...

Just a tip:

I keep tropical fish, and car washer fittings (tubing, joints, etc) are the same size as aquarium plastic airline and associated fittings, just in case you really get stuck. Dirt cheap, and available in any petshop.
