How awkward are these to fit to a 3.5 on carbs?

It looks like a good start but the pictures don't show (and you will need):

crank pulley
front of blower small pulley
idler pulley
a drive belt
supercharger oil reservoir
intake pipe
short rubber pipe joining blower to plenum
some big jubilee clips
a bracket to mount the AFM upstream of the intake/throttle assembly

I'm not sure whether the pulley/pump thing will be useful either.

Nice to have the throttle extension bit.

Thanks. Suspected it was unlikely to be a complete set up.

I still keep pondering super charging a 3.5 in one of my Rangies but unless there is a proven, off the shelf bolt on solution then I don't think it's a viable option.

Yeah you would be better off plopping a 4.3 engine in, I had one like that and it was great fun. I still have the manual box off it (and the engine too but that's reserved for the wedge just in case).

I'm almost certainly going to fit a Merc V8 into it but the engine it currently has a brand new 3.5 that is an absolute cracker so I keep pondering ways to keep it and get the power that I want.

So the Sprintex has a seperate oil pump and lubrication system I take it then?

Cant seem to find any pics on the interweb of the oil system for them, unless the new chargers have a completely revised oiling system spin

Hi mate...The Sprintex uses an external reservoir although they can be tapped into the engine oil...Ziga

Just noticed that one end of the unit is open to foreign bodies...Not good TBH unless its been kept clean...The last thing you want in there is grit...

I wouldn't say that's the _last_ thing you want in there... ;^)

Maybe that's fine for the photographs, it does depend how it's been stored.
