Advice on wedge values
Discussion
Having owned a wedge in the late 1980s I am thinking about buying another one. The car that I owned in 1989 was a black 350 i registration number E681 GTF. It had a 3.9 litre engine with big valve heads. I would prefer a later restored car either a 400 or 450. There is a 400 SE for sale which looks as though it has been completely restored but I'm not sure about the price -£15,000 - What sort of money are these cars going for now?
Hi mate...In general a sorted 400SE would probably be in the ball park figure of around 10-12K...A 450SE being a slightly rarer beast would be more like 12-15K..There are some examples out there with low mileage and still in good original condition...Just do as much research on anything you like as there is also a lot of neglected examples out there..Whatever you pay its never the final sum as its easy to spoil a Wedge with too much TLC ....And i don't mean spoil as in ruin...
