Looks a bit of a challenge! If I had more time and mechanical skill I would be tempted though.

Looking at the turbos i'm not sure the bonnet would close.Unless you put a power bulge in

Not so sure, wouldn't you say its lower than a plenum setup?

Could be,but there is going to be alot of heat near the bonnet.

Never mind closing the bonnet, what about routing the exhaust down and under the car?
There is very little space at the front there to get them down and back under the car!
Always exit them out through the wings I suppose, could be interseting on the over run

Mick.
What about the chassis, might be worth a bid.

This is not the viable way to go with a wedge turbo project. Which is partly why it's for sale. I bet it has to go, no reasonable offer will be refused and even if it doesn't meet reserve, the top bidder will be emailed.

The wedge collective ought to put it's heads together and consider the possibility of putting the engine back on ebay and keeping the chassis, body and bits.

Just a thought.

I can offer some storage space, and some time to clean and tart up the motor externally for resale, but I'm too skint to muscle in financially at the moment.

Interesting. As the owner of many such Wedges in various states at my place I can say with certainty they are a PIA as you only manage to sell the usual stuff and end up with lots of Tut lying around. However, it does look interesting. Engine runs the SU's on the Turbo's and I don't thing those cast manifolds will fit within the chassis top rails. I also note that the body mounting plates on the NS of the chassis are missing.
Nice posting though - Guess as the seller is borrowing a PC he's not on here often!

I've owned rovers with janspeed turbo installs using the old and rather big rotomaster turbos. I can't imagine anyway they would fit inside a wedge and I've worked on a few. More likely, the owner got a bit carried away when he bought the turbo kit. I have my own turbo manifold castings and they are a fair bit wider (maybe 3") then the stock tvr headers because you need to sit a turbo on them The wedge is barely wide enough for the stock headers.

Boosted.

I was wrong. The chassis did have the edge plates. Car went for £2040 which seemed steep to me, though given time the chassis, wheels, brakes and chassis/A frame could have been sold at this level if broken though you'd end up with a yard full of tutt. Lets hope the new owner builds it and joins us merry band of Wedge heads.
