I doubt you actually need a new switch - the contacts are very prone to becoming pitted and therefore high resistance until the point no contact is made. If a squirt of WD40 into the back doesn't cure it if you remove the switch it comes apart and the contacts can be cleaned with emery cloth. Take care to note which way the two copper strip contact arms come out - if they go back swapped round it won't work.
