After getting stiffer and stiffer (don't laugh), my fan switch has decided that it no longer wants to work on the high speed. Unfortunately, the lower speed is like being blown on by an asthmatic mouse.... Actually for 18 months, I thought it didn't work laugh

Anyone know where to get a new fan switch, and how to disassemble the facia without breaking anything?

I decided it was too much faff to fix until I needed to get the fascia out for some other reason (and didn't want to risk chipping or cracking the veneer).

So I bridged the wiring I think at the blower end so now medium is full, and there is no medium.

Hi mate...You can carefully dismantle the switch and clean the contacts...But if they are broken then you can i believe use a headlight switch as it to has two positions as like the fan switch..Check the pins on the rear to see if they have the same amount.

They are from a TR7....

I think the fan switch was from an Austin Princess ..
However if no-one else has one i just may have...Ill have a look tomorrow in the cupboard of doom...smile

Is your centre console panel not over the switches?...If they are pushed through then as said be very careful you don't splinter the veneer.
Mine is over...
