brake pads

Hi Gents greenstuff brake pads what are peoples opinions on these are they better than a decent standard set of pads or not any advice would be appreciated

I knoow this won't help butt i use mintex 1144, i was told the greenstuff pads are quite hard on disks and didnt fancy them for my setup

+2 1144's. Great initial bite, no fade, seem ok re disc wear but have bought a set of Greenstuff for the 390SE to give them a try, they were on special offer. Not fitted them yet though.

Ferodo DS2500 for me. Good on road and track. Ideally you'd want the same compound front and rear, but failing that, certainly not a rear pad with higher coefficient of friction than the fronts.

Superb pads - lots and lots of bite, even from dead cold.

Everyone I've met who uses the greenstuff pads complains of a lack of bite until they've really warmed up.

My father runs DS2500 pads in his E-type, too and has been thrilled.

...EBC green stuff ok for me, but now on Mintex.
Perhaps try EBC red stuff next time for a change.
