Is the new car anything interesting then Dom?
Morning Keith.I've been considering a few interesting ones.. however, my may aim is to get someting cheaper to run and maintain than the celica, also more luggage space for carting computers around
My choice at the mo is -
1 - Skoda Fabia Monte Carlo 1.6 TDI ( great mpg and annual tax)
2 - VW Polo 1.6 TDI ( as above )
3 - Honda CRZ 1.5 Hybrid ( lacking on storage space but great design)
4 - Suzuki Swift SZ2 ( Ive seen these
round the Nurburgring rather quickly !! )Got a test drive booked up for the Polo and Skoda.
Have also looked at things from Merc A Class's through to Landrovers / Lexus's and even an Aston DB9 !!
The Aston is hugely out of my price range though unless the weekly numbers prove good.
Has anyone got any experiance of my shortlist ?
nice, and even wedge shaped! but i think i need a couple to go in my tvr which say my other car works all the time in every way, not just some things sometimes!'

I spent the weekend doing as many test drives as poss. Test drove the Skoda / a Toyota Auris / a Toyota Yaris Hybrid and a Polo 1.2 TSI
Very impressed with the Skoda and the Polo.
Anyhow.. I've bought the mint with a hole. Not the best mpg compared to the others ( a mahooossive improvement mpg wise over Celica though) but a very nice place to be inside and not to shabby on the old performance front for the size of engine.
so in answer to your question Keith.. no, not that interesting

Picking it up later this week so up till then, driving the Celica like it's a hire car haha.
It shall be stickered up accordingly when it arrives.
