I've ordered a replacement Speedo gear.. incase any of you are in need of one also, the one from my gearbox / speedo drive is a black 23 tooth square socket type.



As you can see, the reason I lost all speedo operation was the attachement point had sheared off so the cable didnt have anything to fix into. ( sorry for the rubbish pic)

worth keeping as looks like it could be repaired, not sure how much replacements are but last time I looked they was very expensive esp for the orange ones, good to know its not the orange type that I thought they was.

I paid £30 from Rimmers, part number FRC9339 - for clarity, its for my 350

Yeah deffo keep it - a repair would be much less and the nylon teeth look in good nick.

I have seen white, green and brown too.
