Jolly nice chap in a Chimp stopped to check I was OK. 10 points to the tvr cc there.

For what it's worth, last year it cost me $800 USD for the new clutch set, flywheel dressing and labor. And they found water had gotten the transmission so they drained, cleaned and refilled the transmission. And that's from a shop that had never heard of TVR or the engine/tranny combination. Indeed, it was Paul from Kents. Top bloke.

At th e moment it looks like the slave cylinder, but I'll have to get it on the flatbed back to London now, and sort it later. We replacing the fluid which helped but the aa man advised against driving it back. Apparently it's quite wet under the cylinder in the front.

Got tea now, all is well!

Give me a PM about the clutch...

Started as a simple slave cylinder replacement which escalated to the engine coming out twice!
