It's no mystery; Ford part numbers helpfully tell you what car it relates to.
77 is the year of introduction and the next two letters are the code for the vehicle, so FB was the Fiesta (Mk1). IIRC the Granada was GB. If there's another letter on the end (e.g. A or B) it indicates a revision to the part.
