Fedders,
Should I hear the fuel pump clicking when ignition on (without trying to turn her over) ?

Hi mate...I think you will only hear it if you manually move the AFM flap with ignition on...Air filter off...Don't start it though....smile

Not sure about clicking, but it should definitely run for a couple of secs when the ignition is turned on, prior to starting (RV8 I assume).

Depends if you have a flapper or hot wire system. With a flapper the fuel pump comes on as the envine is cranked and the vacuum opens the flap. With a hot wire system it will come on when you turn the ignition on. Will not be a cli king sound though.Clicking would normally be on a low pressure pump, su h as used with carbs rather than efi

Rv8 flapper .
Got no fuel coming, so gonna jack her up, disconnect pre pump as there is a chance she has no fuel, Gravity should tell !!
Could be that simples ?

What out of fuel~???....Did you try starting it as you may of cooked th pump now....
