Custom exhaust - any suppliers

hi, am thinking of making my own exhaust, cut down the cost etc. made out of 3" s.s . i thought jetex used to be able to supply all bits, bends, pipe , silencers etc but cant find anything. does any one have info on someeone else who can supply the diy pcs.

You can buy stainless pipe and flanges off ebay quite cheap.

I made my own exhaust manifolds and system.

All components I bought from JP Exhausts in Macclesfield - they were very reasonably priced and they gave you plenty of pipe unlike some suppliers.

I would also recommend fitting lambda bungs and plugs .. just in case you need them in a future ECU upgrade.

I also had them build my middle box at 3.5 inches high (origin was 4 inces) to gain a little ground clearance. I was able to specify the length of the box, packing material and size of internal pipe (3 inches straight thru no baffle chamber) - came to £120.

I will post up some pictures when I find them.

+1 lambda bungs, but drill each plug and wire lock it, as they undo, which can be a bit loud(er).

+1 for Custom Chrome ( http://www.custom-chrome.co.uk/retailshop.html ). They made up a system for my wedge from the manifolds back for a very reasonable price. They've done at least another 3 TVRs that I know of (4 if we now include Glenn) and they also sell the bends & silencers etc. if you want to make your own.
