So, as the new pipes haven't arrived yet. And as the rocker covers needed cleaning / polishing, I decided to take them off. So as they are off is there anything useful I can do other than just looking at the rockers?
Turn the engine over on the starter and video the rockers on both sides, then play it back slowly and look for equal movement in the rockers, or else you might have a worn cam lobe.
