Anybody have any source for the door hinge mounting plates? The steel strip inside car that the door hinges bolt to, at the A-pillar.

I could use 2...

EDIT: Or any drawings so I could have them made. They seem simple thick plates, but annoyingly they have a bend in the middle. Measuring it in the car is no go since the end goes down through the floor and into the front outrigger mounting point.

Can you remove them and have copies made using them as templates?

There will be car to car variation no doubt, especially on the location of the bolt holes. You'll have to take the old one out anyway.

I had a local race car body repairer weld me up two new ones for fifty bucks.

They're so firmly rusted in place that a BFH will have to be included. Was going to have them made in preparation for some chassis work.
Also, I'm slightly afraid that as they are one of the chassis mounting points, removal of those will drop that corner down (or, make a bend in the bodywork).

You replaced yours - how did you support the body during the replacement?

Hi, I did a body off resto, so the body and chassis were already separated when the doors came off.

I don't have dimensions, but here's what they should look like.

Interesting! Thanks a million for Your image.
Mine are NOTHING like that. Mine are ½ inch thick steel plates (the fact that ½" of steel can corrode away INSIDE the car is a bit worrying, but...).

I wonder, were mine already changed by someone previously? That would explain the crude way my plates are going through the body, and how there is no rubber packing between the chassis and body at the A-post point (since the steel plate takes that space).

Anybody with late wedge, could You tell me how Your a-pillar chassis mounting / hinge mounting looks like?
