Due to be picked up on Saturday 17th from Trim Unique.

Lee has been very secretive about the job, only saying he is very pleased.

Off to the Rusty Nail Run on Fri 23rd.
Bloody expensive TVR outing when you have to buy a wedge to fit in and feel truly welcome (Tee Hee)

Can't wait. It only took 33yrs to get one !!!

Will post some pics a.s.a.p.

I bought this car as a bog standard 200 back in 1997.

I made a few mods to it while I had it, we fitted the smooth front bumper and black oz alloys along with a few other bits that seem to have disappeared . We ditched the original pinto for a tuned one with twin 40's etc. We had a full stainless exhaust fitted. It was a fairy quick car and lots of fun.

Unfortunately the car got vandalised while parked in a yard I owned. I can't remember the full extent of the damage now. All of the Windows got smashed etc. My insurer paid out just under £5000 at the time - probably 2000 ish. I was gutted at the time- I thought I was really cool driving a TVR around Blackpool aged 17!!

I sold it to a guy through an eBay auction - it went to Pwllheli . That's the last I heard of it. If you google the reg there's a cool photo of it on Blackpool promenade from the Back home weekend.

Nice looking Pinto you had there, I bet that went and sounded good. Not sure about the pink rocker cover though!

Do you not fancy buying it back?

Hi

This car was modified by Offord Motor Company and has now got a Chim 4 lt and T5 gearbox, I last saw it in 2012 when it was for sale then. I don't think its fully finished yet!

I'm looking for another TVR at the moment. It would just be for weekend/sunny days so I'm more interested in a convertible. Ideally I'd like a Chimaera but they're creeping up out of my budget. I still like the look of the 400se too. I could definitely be tempted with one of those!

The rocker and various other parts were painted purple- they do look pink in that picture though!
