Wedge convoy to Mid-Essex meet on Sunday

Right to make it easier to organize and to stop any confusion, I've decided to post up a separate thread for a wedge convoy to the Mid-Essex meet on Sunday (13th).

I suggest that for anyone coming up from the south and using the M25, we meet up at Thurrock Services at 10:30 am. This will leave plenty of time to then meet up with firefox at Hatfield Peveral railway station at 11:30 am

If anybody is interested in this, please post here so that me and firefox know who and if anyone else is coming. Thanks

Bob - Where abouts in Hampshire are you coming from and what way are you coming to the meet? If you are using the M25 anti-clockwise direction and using the Dartford Tunnel, then Thurrock Services is the next exit after the tunnel, so you wouldn't be going out of your way at all!

However if you are using a completely different route to the above, then please take no notice of my ignorance, as I will be quite happy to meet you at Hatfield Peverel Station anyway.

I live Basingstoke direction so will be coming round M25 clockwise. See at Hatfield Peveral Stn at 11.30-12.00

Just to let you know that there is a speed hump as you enter the road to the station... (right side of bridge) but it isn't too bad and should be no problems for you to claer if you go slow .. the S gets over it ok. If youn are meeting in the large car park ... (lHS of bridge there are two speed humps... drive to the rhs of the road and you can fit your right wheel off the humps and you shopuld be ok. If you go straight at these they are tricky. See you at the foresters....

Martin - Yep the services are the ones just the other side of the tunnel. When you come out of the tunnel, take the first exit (junction 31) and follow the signs for the services. I will be waiting for you in the carpark.

A big thanks to Chris and Bob for joining me and firefox for the convoy. It was great to meet you and hopefully we will get to meet up again at the BBWF, if not before.
