A small wedger on the way, yes very poor planning on my side but we are expecting a baby in August and travelling all those miles away from my wife is not really an option particularly as Suzanne has enough to contend with seeing me disappearing into the garage on a regular basis.

Though we have known for a while we wanted to be sure everything was as OK as it can be and I am doing all the right things to nurture the baby in the womb, for instance last night I read the Classic Car wedge article to the baby and over the next few weeks a chapter by chapter account of Steve’s bible.

In the next few weeks the baby will be introduced to the sound of the V8 once I have finished my winter project, nothing like starting them young.

Anyway sorry I cannot be there, I still want to get a shirt though and hopefully I will make it next year

Best regards
Hamish

Long trip in noisy sports car - Sounds like a good way to induce her.

Has the topic of selling the car come up yet - if so dont do it!!!

If you need a case study I got mine just after my first daughter was born!!

Many thanks, no mention of the TVR going but we will be selling the Jeep to make way for a Landrover Discovery. Apparently once with a baby you end up taking the house with you when you travel so second to getting a Transit the Disco seems to be the way to go.

PS - I would offer congratulations, but with two kids now over 21, I know how stupid having children is .

PPS - we stopped at two when I worked out what was happening and dug up the Mulberry bushes in the fruit garden.
