Hi

This is one of those times when I don't want to have to start a thread.

Alun Dugdale from Cardiff who owns four TVR's at least two off which are wedges has sadly passed away.
At present I don't have any more details than this his friend/partner? Jane Crowther informed the TVRCC office today and the club contacted me and I agreed to inform you all as he was a reqular poster on here.
I knew Alun as we had some dealings with Tasmin no 30 he was a gentle giant and it was an honour knowing him.

As and when the club gets and gives me any more information I will post it up.

That is sad news indeed...I used to speak to Alun (Beacon) a few times a year and he always had a calendar or two as he loved receiving anything Wedge through the post...He was over the moon when i put him in one...

R.I.P Alun.

Really quite shocked to hear about Alun, whilst I only knew him having bought my 400 SE he was a genuine chap and one of the good ones.

My condolences to his family.

Thoughts and condolences to the family.

Sure we joined up for a few convoys, I have missed a few lately though.

Hi

As promised here are more details about Alum funeral etc.

Alun Dugdales funeral details are as follows.

The funeral will be held at 10.30 a.m. on Wednesday 26th October at St Marks Church. Gabalfa. Cardiff. Followed by the service at the Crematorium at 11.30 a.m. at the Wenallt Chapel. Following the cremation there will be an opportunity to relax elsewhere and They will post further information on this as soon as they get that confirmed.

People are welcome to all or parts of the events as they feel comfortable with.

Only family flowers please and there will be a retiring collection at ST. Marks in aid of Action for Children, formally NCH.

If people could indicate whether they might come to the pub it would be good to know to make sure the catering is sufficient.

Thanks to all.

Malcom Dugdale.

Thank you from his mum and me for the kind comments on Alun
If anyone would like to come to the funeral, and is able, they would be most welcome and please make yourself known.

We are hoping to scatter his ashes from his TVR on the Castle Coombe circuit in due course. I will post further details when this has been arranged.

Once again, thanks.

Regards, Malcolm Dugdale
